Pluralism, Belonging and Inclusion: Real Classrooms, Real Change in Elementary Education


Overview:

This interactive, virtual series is designed to support elementary educators in exploring Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in a supportive, discussion-based format. The goal is to create space to wrestle with tough questions, reflect deeply, and walk away with classroom-ready tools and mindsets. This is not a presentation or lecture style series -- participants will be actively engaged in discussion, case studies, and collaborative reflection. 

Each 1-hour session includes:

  • A short master class in a teaching strategy 
  • Small group breakout discussions
  • Practical takeaways and reflection resources

Session Dates:

Workshop 1 - Tuesday, May 5, 2026 (4:30-5:30pm MT) 

Workshop 2 - Tuesday, May 12, 2026 (4:30-5:30pm MT) 

Workshop 3 – Tuesday, May 26, 2026 (4:30-5:30pm MT) 

Post-series feedback survey will be sent out following the final session.
